Why? Because I can't speak Korean and the student has clearly mastered pretending to understand English. I don't know all the details yet, but my friend (the one about to put me on a spit and roast my sorry expletive for giving out her phone number) got a call from the student's mother.
I have to meet with her later this evening. My friend, not the student or the mother. Either way, I can't shake this feeling of impending doom. "Who ordered beauty products from Amazon?" Mrs. K said.
"It's probably mine," I said. Opened the package and held up the Fizzion drop and mop next to my face. "Do you think it will work?" Everyone gave me a blank stare. Not to be deterred, I added something about dropping and mopping my face. This was greeted with silence so then I held up the stinky stickers next to my face. "Do I look more beautiful?" I asked. Everyone died. The joke was that bad.
But no. So I tried other ideas... which didn't work. And so that left me with Weebly customer service which made me feel like this But something strange happened. Usually, Weebly is like But this time, they were like And I was like yes. And then the strangest thing happened---no my problem was not solved by the help desk. At least they didn't take credit for it though after our chat the gray went away, so maybe they did do something. I don't know. This earth shattering thing that happened was a crazy little thing called customer service.
And that left me wondering what happened to Weebly and not like when they change everything without giving users a heads up (ahem, Carbon) but like in a good way. |
